Sodan murtamat
A documentary film that explores the experiences of soldiers traumatized by war and those of their children. During the Continuation War, 15,700 soldiers required psychiatric care. Through letters from the front, medical records, interviews with the soldiers' children, as well as wartime documentary films and photographs, the film reconstructs the conditions under which the minds of these young men were shattered. After the war ended, the military psychiatric hospitals were closed, leaving the traumatized men in the care of their families—effectively bringing the war home.
